The Gothard Influence on the Religious Right

Some of the thinkers and writers that influenced some of those early Christian home school leaders very much used language about defeating the enemies of God. And so there's a sense of siege, isn't there? There is. And those ideas were not as often stated. I think you see not just in the Joshua generation expression, but also where that idea seeped into the broader religious right.
