I think people should pay off their debt. I totally agree that's my preferred mortgage payoff strategy is to let the money accumulate, wait until it becomes a lump sum and then wipe out the whole thing in one big check. That way you preserve liquidity. You have the ability to use that money for other purposes. If you need to or if you choose to and you get the emotional satisfaction of just throwing a big chunk of money at a mortgage and wipingout the whole thing all at once. Yeah. It's super.
