Unearthing World War II mass graves and the Boston bombing
The History Hour
The Belsin Camp
Belsin was unique in the way in which it was reported by my father and I think that was overwhelmingly powerful. People who heard it said they never forgot it and people today even listen to it is used quite widely as evidence of what happened. The BBC was reluctant at first to transmit it because it needed wanted corroboration from others. But caution did not prevail and they put the broadcast out. 20 years later in 1965 Richard Dimbleby returned to Belsin for the BBC television programme Panorama. All that you really find to remind you of this place other than perhaps the layout, which I can remember as I stand here now are graves.
