John Lennon and the Beatles

There's actually quite a good link there between learning English and listening to John. Though I am the walrus is his kind of invocation of the Edward Lear image. Then he wrote about his childhood and famous songs like Strawberry Fields, which was a children's home over the back of his house. And then later he wrote songs like Mother about his childhood when he reflected on some of the more difficult aspects of it.
