The scottish enlightenment was about understanding how the irrational aspects of man could actually lead to a wider social good. Alexander brodedi fascinated, because you can how did ideas that coming from a few men, one obviously accepts at their geniuses pon amont. How did they spread so rapidly and so deeply into the minds of people working in so many different areas? My question a littl bit was clumsy. But i think e to to develop what tom was saying in other ways.
