The House of Lords

The idea that we're going to abolish the House of Lords, you don't hear that much anymore. And so the debate has just gone away - which is odd really. We've become a little bit more meritocratic and less deferential in many ways. I think there are two or three strands to Circaistama's announcement,. Boris Johnson announced at the weekend that he plans to abolish the Houses of Lords. The word Banjax sounds a bit daft. It's just corrupted.
