Habermas: The Enlightenment and the Life World

Habermas thinks the economic governmental system progressively colonizes the life world. Where we used to sit around the dinner table or go out to the coffee house and have discussions to determine our thoughts about the world, we now n on a screen and our soled ways to think about things. The further we got away from the origins of the public sphere, in those coffee houses all the way back in france, the more we lost sight of communicative rationality. But for any change, we are posedly wrapped in by the enlightenment.
