Middlebury College for decades in the early 20th century taught eugenics to kids totally embrace this idea. They work entirely complicit as an institution as many many of these enlightened academic institutions were so what I think is interesting is a willingness to sort of try to erase that history or ignore it, and be the unwillingness of the contemporary left particular when we get into issues of reproductive rights and freedom. Margaret Sanger who was a virulent racist and eugenicist to not founder and founder of Planned Parenthood. The reason she cared about reproductive freedom is that she didn't want the wrong sorts of people reproducing.
