David Bianculli: In 2010, Google co-founder Sebastian Throuin and ex-Apple employee Matt Wozniacki started a company called Nest. He says they were inspired by the old MTV show Cribs to create an intelligent thermostat for homes. They raised $9.5 million from Kleiner Perkins but didn't ship their first product until early 2011; Brin was still running Google X at this point. David: The story goes that one day after visiting the Louvre in Paris, Tony decided he wanted to get back into his former job as CEO of Apple's mobile division.
