Based on this calculation, and again, these are fake numbers. This is just the best I could do. Granted, they're real numbers from Stats Canada. If anything, the spending is much higher. Yeah, it should be higher, but I don't know. Obviously, it depends on what city you live. It's really difficult to do any sort of calculation when you're thinking about Canada wide because the variation across major cities is very vast. And so based on this number that I've hacked together, basically it said low income would be if you were spending 42 per cent of your income on food, shelter, and clothing. So that would mean essentially 17.3% of Canadians
