The Basic Running Gat Cycle
The basic running gat cycle is the same for every single runner. If you watch a hundred people run, and you don't have a systematic way of analyzing that, then you don't really learn a whole lot from it. We're trying to just move forward and land as close underneath our centre mass as possible in order to keep our momentum going forward. Lot times we tend to break ourselves or slow down. And so i can automatically tell if i'm looking at someone's posture, if they're vertical,. They're going to be overstriding, or what i call just breaking, slowing down. Or if they're hinging forward at the hips, they're also slowing down.
