Are We Losing Our Capacity to Listen?

A social body that can't concentrate or communicate with itself is like a person who can't think or act. And i have been thinking about this a lot more, like, what does it mean for the country as a whole if we're just all so distracted all the time? Ah, and what does that mean for social movements? What does it means for labor movements? Or civil rights movements? Because collective action requires discipline and organization and ms and a lot of attention. I wonder if we're sort of losing that capacity, yes.
