Pam Houston is a writer who has spent her life living in different places and writing about home and place. Her new book, which will be published next year, tells the story of how she came to live in portland after moving there from New Jersey. The show looks at what it's like to feel that you don't have any roots down but are still essentially wandering in exile from their appointed destiny.
