Spencer: According to the UN, the world population is projected to reach 8.5 billion in 2030 and to increase further to 9.7 billion in 2050 and 10.4 billion by 2100. Spencer asked Malcolm and Simone when they anticipate seeing the rise of substantial problems in the world as a result of falling birth rates. "We are looking at a mass extinction event with cultures like Jane's Parsi," said Simon Tisdall."I would really argue that people should, what we want for a future is a diverse future," he added.
