i've often said that in talking to a science to night, when you challenge their beliefs, you're challenging who they are. Li believes that evolution is real, it's just not the cause of speciation,. He wants to make his respect for science and institutions sit nicely with his religious views. So he does a lot of gymnastics to make that work. I wonder what might happen if you said, ou know, dad, it sounds like your view here is based on faith. How does he feel about climate change?
