The Importance of Temples Made With Hands
Stephen Colbert: Jesus is all four characters. He's tabernacle himself and the temple himself, his own body. In other words, this was never about a physical tabernacle or temple. It was always about a more spiritual reality reflecting the presence of God. That's why Jesus is more than no Joshua, though they have the same name. And you see Jesus in all of these figures as we've shifted from tabernacle, thankYou Moses and Joshua, to temple, thank you David and Solomon.
