I think there's been too much made about API breakage. I don't really believe in codifying like best use. The reality is that it takes 10 years for any new idea to get into the standard. And so it would take us or Pragma a full decade to get this right. Or it may require the committee to take steps that the committee thinks of as being appropriate.
