Introduction
Article two thirty one also known as a war guilt clause. This required Germany to disarm and give up some territory for reparations. The total cost of these reparations were later estimated to be a hundred and thirty two billion marks which would come to four hundred and forty two billion US dollars today. Now printing money can lead to inflation which is basically attacks on the poorGermany printed so much of it that it led to hyperinflation which was equivalent to waging war on their own people.
