Probabilistic Claims Explain Certain Things

"I'm going to win a lot of money in your thought experiment," he says. "We take probabilistic claims to be explanatory of certain things, okay? Explanatory of the frequencies we observe in the world." The only non-exploitable credences they can have is that it'll be 50-50,. He continues: "In exactly the same way that I have a probability belief, a credence, that if I jump out the window, I will fall down versus flying up... It helps me get through the world to think that I will probably fall down as probably a bad idea to jump out the world".
