Seth Godin: Value lies in something that can help me in ways that I didn't already think about or try. If your marketing solves problems better than other people's paid products, then for sure, your people are going to come to you and want to pay you. He says the best form of providing value is helping people be seen as they are. "If my marketing isn't working, everything I'm putting out is not helping people very much," he says.
