Biden is not responsible for the bad behavior, the horrible personal behavior of his son. The 51 intelligence officials who signed that letter actually thought that it was possible that the laptop could have been manufactured in which case they acted in innocence. And second, yeah, they wanted Biden to win. This was an op by the Biden campaign in some fashion or other to get to protect him from this late hit because it came out two or three weeks before the election. That's to be understood as a political act. They would have been malpractice for them not to protect him.
