Zoology helped me pop the young Earth creation thing, and I found myself very much liking animals. And then the mythology mythological aspect helped me re appreciate the Genesis story in a way that didn't feel like I was being bullshit of the entire time. So it all worked out in the end. Reimbo's then came later once we in, whatever stuff. But yeah, I take it primarily as an kind of Jewish, eatable story. You see a similar structure in Adam and the E.P. the prohibition of God. They break through the prohibition to get the apples to become like God. If you view things like that than if you view them as a historical document
