Vaccines are needed in order for the economy to be opened back up. The only reason that we're now back open is because everybody's vaccinated. We've suddenly lost all logical thought processes surrounding bad things happening to people pre vaccine. There 's something called the tragedy of the commons that you get with the free rider problem. If i'm scared of taking the vaccine, if i know that there are some potential health risks, the same ones that you do, but i'm going to stick this in my arms so that we can get the country back working, that makes me feel a little bit more safe.
