The Importance of Enlarging Our Story of Who We Are

In the West, especially now that many people have detached themselves from traditional religious practices, the stories we tell about ourselves are mainly about technology and capitalism. To me, that's a big part of our problem. The scenery is going to start directing the play very soon. And perceiving nature in that way also separates us profoundly from who we really are.
