The Greatest Collectors of Baseball Cards
Jefferson Burdick was a relatively poor bachelor from Syracuse who pretty much spent his entire life traveling the country trying to collect every card he could get his hands on. The collection he amassed is actually at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, it's called the Burdick Collection. He created sort of like a Dewey Decimal system for trading cards. So he was the guy, he sort of broke the wood is kind of how serious collectors look at him and he's kind of a hero to a lot of them today.
