Persecutors Encourage Us to Live for God's Well Done

When i my dad passed eight years ago. I debated whether i was going to share this or not, but i feel compelled to. It's a reminder that earth is not our home. Second nugget, i think persecution encourages us to live for god's well done, rather than for the praise of people. How would it feel to get all the praises of people and that your soul is empty?
