Is Everyone Mute?

Not everyone is necessarily looking for the signal. I've noticed sort of status differentiation or age ifferentiation, because so often that's correlated. But i don't know exactly what the emergent behavior is there among younger people who are used to muting a lot more pro actively and maybe have a keyboard short cut set up for muting. And at that point does everybody mute? Or people sort of take it in terms depending on social status? Because i do if you weren't sat had a group of like, 50 something professors who are all very senior, they probably none of them would mute.
