How to Apply Design Principles to Business

Joseph Byron: I like to read and apply science and technology towards business. There's a book on my bookshelf is I'm looking at it right now. It's the gang of four book. And that's ostensibly about software engineers thinking about how to design their code. But I take lessons from that book, which by the way, was based on lessons from a pattern language in architects. He says he doesn't want to let all of those engineering lessons die on the vine just because he's a business leader now.
