i see some of the same limitations of silences. A talal asad has had a number of really important contributions in the anthropology of islam and also kind of the anthropology of secularism, right? And he doesn't smooth the needle when it comes to talking about gehad s as a kind of terrorism. He raises many questions about it, then leaves it there. So again, we're back to the question of, you know, yes, rejecting the kind of dominant discourse or the security discourse, is a starting point, but that can't be where we end up, right? That by itself is, is, is,. yes, just not enough, right?
