The Difference Between Cliches and Creativity

The idea of what's going to happen next, I don't feel like we give that enough credit as storytellers. We can talk about craft until the sun goes down, which I'm fine to do. But the really the most important thing is we want to hook our audience into knowing what happens next. And if we can do that, then we're successful as storyteller.
