As a teacher, i have found that the kinds of students i have the most fun teaching are artists, athletes and engineers. Artists and athletes know that practice makes different they all know it. And engineers have no fear about thinking about systems and structures. That's what's given for them. So you can talk to an engineer about how racial capitalism works and go yet about it. The key word here is organized. It's like thinking, studying, learning, trying something new.
Featuring Olúfẹ́mi Táíwò, Robin D.G. Kelley, and Ruth Wilson Gilmore on racial capitalism, intergenerational organizing, internationalism, and a whole lot more. Dan's live Dig interview from the Socialism 2022 conference in Chicago.
