The High Level Architecture of a Monitoring Service

The high level architecture remains the same. The initial design, we could scale several detectors horizontally. Why? Because it's just another serverless function, as each of them are in separate microservice. And then so all the components are still there. So if we lose this, if we crash, who cares? We don't care about durability, right? This is there. They just change the how the orchestration is talking to each other by making it local calls effectively. That's why they wanted to keep the orchestration just because they didn't want to change the code a lot.
