How to Price a Vinyl Record
I think $10 is a good price at this point for cassettes, whether they're made from a manufacturer or they're made at home. I've seen major labels and big indies doing closer to $20 but teach their own. Vinyl varies a lot on the specs of the entire package. Is it deluxe with special inclusions like download cards, booklets, posters? Is it a color vinyl versus just black? Is it limited? Does the scarcity of only 100 copies allow you to charge more?
