Is the Pre-Academy System a Good Idea?

In a perfect world, grass roots clubs in the u.K. Would have brilliant facilities and educated coaches. But i think that's probably the bit that the u. K. Is missing out on compared to other european countries where those facilities and coaching structures are in place. The academies almost take responsibility for that lack of funding in society. Also, if we accept that sport in primary schools is under funded, under developed, teachers have a lack of support around to develop that. Should football maybe helped with that funding? should some of the premi league money go towards that funding? Yes. but i think the government has to timbal as well.
