Zeus and the One Man
I.O. was a priestess of Hera in the city of Argos. Zeus lusts after I.O. and she continually revops his advances. In an effort to hide his affair with I.O., Zeus transforms her into a heifer. He does this so that he can keep I.O.-turned-heifer around, and so he can keep seeing her. This note is where JK Rowling got first name of character Filch from Harry Potter. It's not clear if Hermes slays Argus Panopdys or whether Zeus asked him to do it.
