George Goed Jef's key thing was waking in the midst of ordinary life. His practices involved, he said, well, you'll only find out the emotions and so on that control you. And what you need to be able to do is watch those negative feelings and not be controlled by them. To achieve evolutionary goals one needs two capacities: cognitive capacity and medicine cognition. But both require practice from spiritual and traditional and contemplative traditions.
