Delio was indicted on six charges of kidnapping, assault, assault with a dangerous weapon and attempted extortion. Plea deal: 71 years to no jail time if you just say you did it. He resigns as mayor because he had recently signed a law that forced elected officials to resign if convicted of a felony. Delio writes later in his book, "It's like the people love me"
