Nigeria had a co-ed lagoon off the coast of Lagos, and my dad said he wanted it. He was so forward thinking because in his mind he figured if I create something where there was never something, no one could ever come back. And then finally he hired some Dutch engineers who started dredging the foreshore to develop what was part of a body of order into land. In 1987, the corruption got really, really, was already out of control, but got more so out of control with government entities that essentially awarded him the lagoon after the land had formed.
