To run these houses required a small army of servants. If their wages go up, the cost of running the house goes on. On top of that, you also start to lose your source of income. So prices go up and you're earning less money. It's a double, it's a double financial blow. And I guess, you know, you can't make all this free money forever, can you? No. Hard to fill sympathy for them. Yeah. They had a good run.
