Vegetable Rice in the Winter
In the winter time, a lot of those same dishes, but with greens. So i love the variety of vegetable rice dishes that are particularly popular int winter time. A greek giant beans braised and baked with all sorts of different seasonings. I make a suffico, which is the carrion, kind of national dish from icadia,. It's layers of egg of zucine, egg plant, a potato, thaltingly sliced tomato, garlic, aregino, lot of onion - it's very comforting. And if you have a hungry 20 year old, maybe with fried eggs... just sove i sensher to be soupy in the end?
