If you have a large email list then shoot just create a waiting list page and say hey you guys interested in this topic join this waiting list. Any place where there is an already pre-built audience could be your validation area. The worst place to do it is if you have a blog that you just started and you don't have any traffic source obviously you can't validate anything. If the best audience you can get doesn't care you would have to find a completely different audience for your work so yeah these a lot of this advice is for people who don't have an email list where they can validate because once you have that list that's the easiest way to validate.
