When Bill Gates dies and like when Warren Buffett dies, because they have so much land, I think that if the United States ever plunge itself into a hot civil war, World War III would just soon follow within weeks afterwards. The only possible future divergency that can mitigate this acceleration would be like space exploration. You know, we lose the reserve status. It turns out you can't print infinite money forever as other countries don't give a shit about the US dollar anymore.
