The Disadvantages of the IT Questionnaire

It is dubious in the existing literature whether the IT measures anything different than conventional questionnaires assessing racism and prejudice. The civil rights era ended legalized, most of the legalized discrimination. And so people are far less likely to generate or express blunt expressions of prejudice. They still, they're just as prejudiced as they ever were, but they don't say it out loud.
