edge AI is the idea of taking some intelligence and placing it onto a device which is at the edge of the network. It's not specifically talking about machine learning or, you know, a particular type of capturing intelligence and reproducing it. There are different pieces of the edge as well; there's like the far edge where the sensors are. And then there's more like the near edge, but maybe bigger beefier machines that are networked with devices that have the sensors on.
