Xenophon and the Syropedia
Xenophon was a student of Socrates. He also signed up to be a mercenary from Athens for Persian king Artaxerxes II. His biggest contribution is a work called the Syropedia. It's all about Cyrus the Great, but Xenophon had a thing for Cyrus.
