The first half of the film really is talking about what is going on with modern america to day. But in historical context, and the historical context that we chose to use for this was comparing the modern American empire to the late roman empire before the fall of the western empire. We chose five different kind of categories to put the comparisons ind but whether you're looking at like the economy, the foreign adventurism and and war making, a looking at the social depravity,. all these things almost identical, more or less, to what was going on just a few years later when the barbarians entered America.
