Do We Drop the Tea After the End Consonant?

Americans often drop the T between two other consonants. If there's a syllable split between the NNT, then we do not drop the tea. There is an exception to this rule because we love exceptions. The word just, J-U-S-T is a perfect example of this. It also happens in phrases where we're linking two words together.
