The Importance of Accepting God's Invitations

In the tradition of ancient philosophy, there's a bit of skepticism when it comes to human improvability. But with the Christian revelation comes this "bull from the blue" in the sense that we now have greater hopes that we can be different. That doesn't mean like easier, more comfortable, but it does mean better, more grace-bearing and more delightful.
