How to Choose the Right Treatment for PD

Everyone that doesn't have a contract indication should get aspirin 81 milligrams. Those with an elevated hematocrit above 45% need to also be considered for phlebotomy or cytoreductive agents such as hydroxyurea. The goal is to reduce the risk of thrombosis or hemorrhage, manage symptoms, and prevent and delay transformation to myelophibrosis or acute myeloid leukemia.
