Are You a Part of the Old Testament?

Ancient eastern culture had a sense of family and of patriarchs. When the patriarch decided that this was a change the family was going to make, they followed him. It didn't mean they even understood or even believed in the way that he did, but they were following his lead. This isn't just something that's part of the bible culture. This is the entire ancient world wl as like this. And you even see this tailing into the new testament.
